My name is Daniel. I’m 26 years old as of now. And I’ve recently moved into a new house as my old neighborhood was filled with crime. When I first got here the moving trucks were late so I decided I’d take the TV and DVD player from my car and use those. I plugged them in and turned them on. I was surprised that there was already a DVD inside as I had left all the disks in the car. When it started up I hear the familiar britt chime from the model series. I was amazed as the season 1 disk of Thomas and Friends booted up. I thought I had lost it when I was about 5 years old! In amazement I started up the episodes. About an hour later one of the moving trucks arrived I had brought my couch, microwave, and other typical household items. But I noticed a noticed a note inside a shelf it read. Since you’re leaving the nieghborhood I figured I’d give you a gift in DVD player watch the episode with the glitched title I think you’ll like it. I could tell by the spelling it was Michale he was wanted for murder but I never got the chance to tell the cops he was there. That and I feared he’d kill me for telling them. I figured I’d go ahead and watch that episode. When the episode started the title card said “Thomas and the Scrapyard” I didn’t know this episode existed so I figured I had just never seen it before either that or I forgot about it.
When the real story began Thomas was shunting trucks when Gordon showed up next to him. He began to say something but the disks scratches made it impossible to understand all I knew was that it mad Thomas sad. He then shunted a truck and made it derail, the truck barely missed a workman. In the next scene Thomas was pulling coaches. Clarabell told Thomas to stop but he didn’t hear her and smashed into a tanker. The narrator said a boy broke his arm. I thought this was odd as he always said nobody was hurt. But I kept watching.
The next scene showed Thomas at Knapford with the fat controller next to him. He said to Thomas that he needed to collect some scrap metal from the scrapyard. Thomas took off sending me to the next scene.
Thomas arrived at the scrap yard to see what looked like Edward. At this point I was freaked out and paused the DVD. I looked out the window and it was nighttime. I decided to go to sleep. I then had a dream which showed me a memory, but from a different perspective. I was wearing gloves and had a knife I seen myself watching tv. The man was about to stab me when sirens wailed. He then ran off. I woke up covered in sweat and seen it was morning. I figured I’d continue watching the episode. Thomas pulled up to Edward. His face was peeled off to show skin torn apart. Edwards body was all rusted and hardly looked like him anymore. Thomas began to cry and continued down the line. He then looked to his left and saw james in the melting room crying. James then told Thomas that he’d been set up, the melter then activated and james was screaming in pain! James then yelled at Thomas to get out while he still can! My eyes were watering as I seen Thomas puffing as hard as he could but Gordon was pushing him into the melter. Gordon had a malicious look on his face during the act. Thomas knew he didn’t have a chance. He begged Gordon to stop but Gordon said something that gave me chills. Why stop when destruction helps society become greater. The screen cut to black as the credits played. Tears streamed down my eyes as I seen Thomas face being torn apart. My favorite childhood character now dead. I took out the disk and found a message on it in scratches, it read. You can’t escape us daniel.
