Pasta War: Meeting the King (9)

“Hell shall swallow Earth, for the dark overlord is here. Z’algatoth will devour all, he is the one who waits behind the wall. It is now that the fire rises and only I can stop it, but I need some help. I need a miracle.”

I had walked through the woods to find another giant, white mansion. It was JJ’s household. I stepped inside and saw a group of people, but I couldn’t recognize them. “JJ,” I said. “I need your help.”

“Oh,” he said. “Now you want the help of your god. How pitiful, I can help you.”

“Really,” I said.

“Yeah, at a price. I need your word that you will give me something.”

“Ok, deal!”

“Good, I will need my father’s life! I must kill Jeff!”

“JJ,” a female around his age said. She stood behind him, dressed in black. “You can’t fight him yet!”

“I can do whatever the hell I want Janet!”

“You have no right to call me that,” she said.

“Oh my god,” I yelled. “Can we just get down to business!”

JJ walked towards me and pushed me out the door. He stepped outside and slammed the door shut. “Now, there’s someone who you should meet!”

“Who,” I questioned.

“Since I am god, I thought it would be fitting for me to have a prophet. He will be your partner. Don’t get on his bad side!”

“When will I meet him?”

JJ stepped back inside and spoke before closing the door. “Behind you.” JJ slammed the door shut once again and I heard yelling inside.

I turned around to see a man wearing a leather jacket and a white turtleneck, he also wore a mask. I looked at it, steering into its glaring black eyes. I saw a deep emptiness, then I heard him speak. “So,” he said with a deep voice. “You are the lord’s new friend. You see, I questioned JJ. I didn’t think he was my savior, but he proved me wrong… He saved me from death. I am his prophet, you shall be my witness… soon.”

“I don’t wanna be your witness, I just need help. So don’t bother me with stories of a fake god,” I yelled.

“Fake god! A fake god,” yelled a loud voice behind me. JJ stood there and I quickly turned around. A metal object was shoved into my stomach and blood spilled from my wound. He twisted the object and pulled it out of my wound before putting it into his hoodie pocket. “I am no fake, for I am your savior. I am your messiah.”

I fell to the ground and bled, I saw myself in that dark tunnel again. But all I saw was darkness, then I saw JJ standing in front of me. He touched my wound and I saw light. I jolted up from the ground on which I laid. I was alive, my wound was gone and so was JJ.

“Now do you believe,” said the masked man behind me. “Follow me my if you seek help.”

“May I ask your name,” I said. “I’d like to know if I’m gonna work alongside you.”

“Oh, it’s Elliot… Elliot the prophet.”

“Okay, I couldn’t tell. My power usually lets me know this kind of stuff, but I guess it isn’t working.”

I followed Elliot through the woods as we talked. “So Elliot,” I said. “What do you know about JJ?”

“I don’t know too much about him,” he said. “JJ never gives away his information. He is very secretive.”

“Well I guess that I’m gonna have to get to know him.”

“Good luck with that, we’re here.”

Elliot and I stopped at the edge of the woods, looking at Jeff’s old house. “You’re on your own now,” said Elliot. “I shall not leave the woods, no one can see me.”

I continued to walk and I slowly entered Jeff’s old, burnt down house. It was just remains at this point because of the horrors that once stood here. I rubbed my fingers across the burnt wall and stopped in front of Zalgo. He stood there, looking at his stone hands. “You did this to me,” Zalgo said. “So you can fix me, right?”

“Maybe, but I won’t. You turned my friends into windows,” I said.

“But I’ll fix your friends if you fix my hands. I give you my word,” he said.

“The answer is no! I don’t need your help,” I yelled.

“Fine, I can still kill you!” Zalgo ran towards me, prepares to jab his stone hand through my torso. However, a blade pierced his chest. JJ stood behind Zalgo, wielding a sword. The handle was gold and had carvings on it and the blade was pure silver. “How do you like my sword,” JJ yelled. “I got it as a gift from the heavens.”

“It actually hurts,” Zalgo said. “But It’s not enough to kill me.” Zalgo walked into the shadows and two white eyes appeared in the darkness. Zalgo’s glowing red eyes faded, along with the white eyes. “I will return,” said Zalgo. “Soon.”

JJ looked at me with a smile on his face. His bright emerald-green eyes stared into my soul and his white skin glared in the sunlight. “Ha,” I said. “I knew mortal weapons wouldn’t pierce his skin. So I guess you’ve earned an ally.” JJ kicked off of a wall and jumped over another. He disappeared from my sight and I walked back into the woods. Elliot was still there.

“I must leave for now,” he said. “I have business to attend to. But you can still find more allies, farewell.” Elliot walked one direction and I walked the opposite way. I returned to my old house where my family once lived. I saw a black car in my driveway, it looked the secret service or someone was at my house.

I was scared, but there’s no way that I would be caught right? I walked towards it and touched the hood, no one was inside. I was suddenly pinned down on the car, someone was restraining me. Then I heard a voice. “Sir, you are coming with us. You have the right to remain silent. You also have a right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be given to you at court of law. Do you understand these rights as they have been read to you?”

“Yes,” I said. I was put into the back of the car and two men dressed in suits got in the car. They drove away and I was taken with them. Jail is no place for me, people could get harmed.
