On My Phone at My Door

It was Halloween. My family was going to this small get-together. I decided to stay home I started watching a movie then the house phone rang. I knew I probably shouldn’t answer at this time so I let it ring out so to speak. As I watched my movie, the phone rang again and I did the same thing. Minutes later, my cell phone rang. I was kinda creeped out but I decided to answer. I said, “Hello?” A deep gravely voice answered with a, “Yes.” I asked, “Who is this?” He replied with, “A friend.” I thought that was odd then I asked, “Where are you?” He said, “Your house…”

I felt like throwing up. I hung up and called my mom. She answered asking if there was something wrong. I told her if she could come home. She said she’d be on her way. I didn’t tell her about the man because I didn’t want to worry. I thought it was stupid but I waited then I heard a knock at the door. I looked through the peephole and I saw a man in a Michael Myers costume and I was scared shitless! Then I saw my mom’s car start to pull by. The man said, “S**t!!” and left. My mom didn’t see him and everything was fine afterwards. The morale of the story is, don’t answer unknown numbers. I don’t know who that guy at the door was or the guy on the phone, but I’m glad nothing bad happened.
