Kyrah – Part 2

(Just a little update, the first part of Kyrah was what you would call an introduction, so it didn’t have much in it, this part is going to be longer, and so will the next parts, so enjoy my story, Kyrah)

I looked at my handy work for a second before hearing screams erupt in the background, I looked to the right of me and saw a girl standing there, shaking and crying in fear of me and the four dead bodies littering the ground, I thought we had been the only people in the area, but I was wrong. The girl tried to run, but I grabbed her wrist before she could. “Let go of me! Please! I don’t want to die! Let me go, I beg you!” The girl screamed in a panic. I licked the smooth side of the blade to enjoy the gruesome look on the girls face as I did it. “Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you, but only on one condition,” I said softly to the girl, “join me, and be my partner, or your life ends here, and don’t think that you can just say yes and run, I will kill you in an instant if you betray me.” The girl then suddenly had some guts and yelled back at me, “I would rather die than join you, you MONSTER!” I began laughing then spoke back to her in a chuckle, “that can be arranged,” I then took the knife and showed it to her in front of her face, before turning the blade at her and stabbing it into her head. “Now the world is finally rid of you,” I whispered as I stashed the knife in my backpack, grabbed an extra pair of clothes I had brought, and changed behind tall, thick bushes.

I quickly buried my bloody clothes, cleaned myself of all the blood, and scanned the area for people or cameras, but I was in luck, nothing was in the area. I then began to walk home with a huge smile on my face.

I got home and found my mom, dad, brother and sister in the living room, they were all still sick from getting the flu, so none of them left the house to go to work or school. As I walked closer, my mom noticed me for the first time and stood up. “Hi honey, how was school today?” Mom asked as I put down my backpack. “It was good,” I answered trying not to seem suspicious. “Well that’s good, anything different happen today?” My mom always asks that, but she always knows my answer is no. “Nope, just a normal school day,” I said and my mom smiled at me, nodded her head and said, “ok if you need anything I will be down here with everyone, you go upstairs so you don’t catch all of this flu in the air.” I nodded and went upstairs to my room, unzipped my backpack and took out the still bloody knife, I walked into my bathroom, turned on the sink, grabbed some soap, and began to clean the knife. As I cleaned the knife, I heard something plop to the floor, I looked into my room from my spot, saw nothing, and figured I was just hearing things and continued to clean the knife. I then heard what sounded like footsteps behind me in my room, I got nervous thinking it was my mom, dad, or one of my siblings, so I quickly stashed the knife in the large pocket of my hoody I was wearing. I turned around and yet again saw nothing, feeling like one of my siblings was going to play a prank on me I said for them to come out, thinking they would come out if they heard that I knew they were there, but no one came out. I then became confused, and started to walk out of my bathroom and into my room, until I looked to my right, and saw a dark figure standing there, looking down so as not to show me it’s face.

I just stood there, looking at the figure, I wasn’t scared, and I didn’t give any signs that I was afraid, I was so interested and curious that I couldn’t be afraid. I then noticed a little bit of his face, but I wasn’t seeing his actual face, I was seeing a very dark blue mask, I now knew exactly who this was. “Hello Eyeless Jack,” I said in a calm voice, he looked up at me with his empty eye sockets bleeding with black, he still said nothing. “If I may ask,” I continued, “why are you here?” Jack extended his hand and revealed a note, I was confused at first, but I took the note anyway, emedietly when I did, Eyeless Jack walked to the window and jumped out, I went to the window and looked out, he was gone.

I looked at the note Eyeless Jack had given me, then unfolded it, all it said on it was, “You were born to kill.” The moment I read those words, my life turned upside down.

I then heard footsteps coming up the stairs to my room, as my door opened I saw that it was my dad, he stumbled into my room, he was obviously very drunk and sick, not a good combination. “Why did you come to my room dad?” I calmy said, he then walked closer to me and slapped me across the face, making my head jurk to the side. “What was that for!?” I screamed as my father stood there, he then started laughing sycoticly, I no longer saw him as my father, he was a threat, an enemy, I pulled out the knife from my pocket and quickly stabbed it into his neck, he yelled in pain, and then dropping dead to the floor. My mom and siblings were so tired they didn’t care about the noise. I said the one sentence I had continually said in my past kills, “Now the world can finally be rid of you.”

I walked back into the bathroom and noticed a needle with thread, and a lighter that wasn’t there before, I picked up the needle and thread and my knife, each in one hand, and began to work.

Thanks so much, but I’m cancelling this series and making a new one, I know it seems like I’m giving up, but don’t worry, I’m making a new one to improve and have more fun with it! I hope you enjoy my new series when I finish it.

One word of advice. Don’t make it seem so far fetched. Make it seem as though it could possibly happen. You may have to read a couple books to get some ideas or watch a couple tv shows. But the real good ones will pull you in and make you forget about your surroundings until the very end. Keep trying.
